31st October 1984 excerpt from the book I Accuse..
Jarnail Singh describes the painfully scarring days he and his family had to face after Indira Gandhi’s assassination. He describes how they had to hide like criminals in their own house, in a colony that they had lived in all their lives, surrounded by their neighbours. He describes what happened in Delhi as a pogrom and how government hospitals weren’t admitting injured Sikhs. This is a very moving account that gives us an insight into those harrowing times.
